Deviation Actions
Hello! Welcome to yugioh-love! We greatly appreciate your visit to the group, and if you'd like to join, please read the rules and regulations below before doing so. Since we have received numerous new members, I thought it would be time to remind everyone to read the Rules and Regulations. There have been minor changes (just some things more well explained).
Rules
Be polite to other members (No trolling, flaming, etc.). If you or someone you know is a victim of harassment, please note us with the usernames of both the victim and harasser.
Submit only your own art. This means renders are not allowed; if you did not draw/create (cosplays or crafts is what I mean by creating) it, then do not submit it. Refer to our "Strikes for submitting non-original artwork" section.
If you wish to submit another individual's art, please see our group submissions blog and link to the piece. An admin will take the steps needed to submit the piece into the group.
We are a PG to PG13 group. Mature pieces are not allowed. If the picture needs a filter for it, it will not be accepted. (This means the grey censor over the deviation)
Shonen ai/Shojou ai/ Pairings are allowed, but nothing too intimate. This included nudity/implied nudity of any sort. (If they're generally covered, it's okay.)
Blood is allowed as well, however excessive amounts as well as gore isn't.
WIPs (works in progress) not allowed. Finished pieces are.
Motivational/demotivational posters are not allowed. Edited screenshots, etc., are not allowed.
Art theft is strictly prohibited. (Mats are a sort of "exception," please see the folders blog for more info.)
Strikes for submitting non-original artwork:
Submit stolen artwork ONCE and you will be blocked
Submit traced artwork TWICE and you will be blocked
Submit heavily referenced artwork THRICE and you will be blocked
Regulations
Members are always accepted. However, settings are not at "auto accept" so that we can send you a friendly little note concerning rules, regulations, etc.
We encourage variations in your pieces. If you would like to stop drawing the same thing over and over again, please submit to the free critique folder or note us, and we'll try to help
There is a submission limit of 5 submissions per day.
The featured folder is for the best art. Featured folder submissions require 5 "yes" votes before being accepted. (For admin: 2 "yes" votes)
All other folders require two "yes" votes before being accepted. (For admin: 1 "yes" vote)
There is a 3 strikes violation system in place. If you violate the rules more than 3 times, you're out of the group. Minor/unintended violations will be counted as warnings, and 2 warnings is equivalent to one strike.
Other
We offer a free critique system. If you would like your piece critiqued but do not have a premium membership, submit to the corresponding folder and whoever is willing to critique the piece will using a critique creator. If you do have a premium membership, then you are also free to submit to this folder.
The favorites are for overall decent (or really good) pieces that was unable to be submitted to the group.

New Rule: No Fake Cards
I'm adding fake YGO cards to the list of things we don't accept in the group. By which I mean, fake cards from templates; not, say, if you were to draw a monster for your OC that doesn't necessarily exist in the TCG/OCG/anime/manga. The keyword is draw; that's how the differentiation will be made. If it's not a drawn picture submission, it'll be declined from now on.
I don't know how many, if any, already exist within the group, but I plan on going through and removing any that have slipped through the cracks in the near future.
PSA: New folder added!
I realized all of a sudden that this group didn't actually have a folder for crossovers beyond the mixed gens.
So... we made one! I'm going back now to try and rearrange existing pieces and put anything relevant into that folder instead. From now on, make sure anything you submit that contains characters that are originally from a different fandom (i.e. a published work not your own) goes in the Non-YGO Crossovers folder!
Note that this only applies to crossover characters: if, say, you've drawn YGO characters in outfits from a different series, or written them into roles based on an AU of a different series, they still go in the folder of
New Yu-Gi-Oh! Series Announced - Yu-Gi-Oh! Vrains
Update: The next YGO series is called "Vrains"!
Hello! As I'm sure some of you are aware, last night the newest Yu-Gi-Oh! series protagonist was announced at Jump Fiesta!
http://www.cinematoday.jp/page/N0088391
Yusaku Fujiki is said to be a shy boy in high school. The series' motto is "take a step and try"!
For now, I've made a new folder for Yusaku art. As more gets announced, I'll change it to whatever they name the 6th generation.
The Yusaku folder has been renamed "YGO VRAINS".
